*phew*
There is this annoying requirement for people that get at least two tickets within a 12 month period. It's called Driver's Ed. Let's note that the previous three sessions of Driver's Ed has done squat for me, but apparantly somebody in the bureaucratic system thinks my driving will improve somehow. The problem is that they don't understand that my driving is normal. It's everybody else that can't drive. Anyway, I was notified in February to get this completed or I'd get suspended if it's not completed by May 5. Since I'm in Mexico during that week, I felt that it might be necessary to complete it before I leave. Three days before I leave, I manage to finish the torture program. I can't even begin to express the stupidity of the antics they do and statements they say to keep your attention. Passed with 80%...SAFE! Driver's Ed is the ONE subject that I don't care about obtaining an A ;)

Die Fish Die!
A few months ago you may have noticed a fish on my bar (yes, a live one). The adoption of Fredrick II began with fishsitting him for my parents when they went out of town. Apparantly, upon their return, Fredrick went into depression when he was returned. Mum was convinced that he was on his last fin because he's lasted freakin' forever, and his last days should be in happiness on my bar. This made me very unhappy because there's huge responsibility in fish care, namely feeding him. Also, finding a floating upside down fish is not a positive start to my morning, and I fear that scene each day. M-o-n-t-h-s later let's note that he's live and sassy. Die! Get out of my life! You take up space on my bar! Unfortunately I don't have the guts to flush him and mum's quite convinced that he'll go back into depression if he's returned. If this keeps up I'm going to have to buy another stupid bottle of fish food.

Tax Time
This time of year either makes Marian very grumpy or very happy. This year Marian is very happy. V-E-R-Y happy. It's about time the government realised that we've been shafted and deserve something in return!

Is this morning?
Firstly, it is w-a-y too early to be out of bed. I got up at ... like ... 821am. My current life's stress is hiding my car on Mondays because these really nice people that I can't turn away keep visiting me on Mondays. They are those Christian people that visit people a lot? They also seem very bent on the fact that we refer to God as Jehovah. I explained that I am a Presbyterian and a member of a church, but I failed to convince them that I did not need to be their project. Part of my problem is that I just can't shut them down because they are very nice, so rather than just asking them to discontinue sharing scripture on my doorstep, I hide my car. It's much easier that way...I think.
