Awesome Statement

and I quote:

"...and my bull shit metre is going off right now because your mouth is OPEN..."

Long storey to explain the context, but that line still has me giggling.

Capped At 10th Season
What else, but the wonderful world of Stargate! The SCI-FI Channel has a lot of gall to interrupt my personal entertainment. Actually, I can't help but wonder if it's a wise move. If they continued, the hokiness could expand into eye-crossing horror of plots run into the ground and Staff weapon blasted a few hundred times. Besides Atlantis is continuing, and that seems to be pretty much the same thing. Just different stars, different bad guys, and different home base.

Bunny Memories

Sometimes you wonder if it's worth having pets because they inevitably die, but I think that thought is the fleeting sentence that passes through the most painful realisation that your pet has died. Later, you start going through pictures and realising how much your pet added to your quality of life, and really, how you provided a peaceful home for your pet. I don't know if it's just albino rabbits that don't live long, or my inability to keep rabbits alive. Sadly, I have to add another wonderful rabbit to the list of wonderful bunnies in my life.

MAZI, albino New Zealand, died from unknown causes

FLOPPY, brown Lop, died from heart attack while on vacation

THUMPER, black and white mutt, died from unknown causes

CHERRY, albino New Zealand, died from .22 bullet when she escaped and some asshole had nothing better to do. It is not pleasant to discover the body of your adorable bunny with a bullet hole in her head at 5 years old.

You would think all these losses would cure me from rabbit ownership, but I just want another one. Something about owning lots of pets over the years (dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, frogs), life becomes unbearable without them!

Due March 26
Books are so amazing, especially when you start reading them. I bought one, then my mum-in-law bought me one, and I found out the nurse is going to give me one tomorrow, so I thought I might start reading one of them at least. I think part of me wanted to remain ignorant of what's to come, but I got a great pep talk from a friend at Kick to the Stars. She was so positive and happy and told me about the future bright spots. It was very encouraging, so I started delving, which led to to figuring out my due date. I can't believe I'm in my ninth week! So far, so fun :) (Despite the loss of certain food and beverage qualities!)

Lucky, I think
It's hard to believe that this miserable feeling of nausea from almost exactly 8am - 930am is lucky, but after reading a pregnancy book that explains the horrors that some women endure, I think I am very very lucky. No puking yet, and other than some feelings of grumpiness for the impending weight gain, I'm feeling good. That's good for 6 weeks, right?

Purchases Made So Far:

1 Baby Blanket
2 Stuffed Animals
Baby Sun Lotion

Please don't try and apply logic to that. I seriously have no idea. The blanket was bought before I even knew b/c it was on a great sale and it was SO soft. The stuffed animals was just a moment of "oh my god I'm going to have a baby and she has to have a million stuffed animals". The sun lotion...I don't know. The bottle was cute.

Meanwhile, there are the purchases to make me not feel like a complete dump. So the visit to the magical world of Sephora was fantastic. One great thing about going to Paris next month is the BIG Sephora. "Oh hey guys, there's the Louvre. Go have fun with that...I'll be pretending I'm drastically wealthy and gorgeous in this store for six straight hours." ;)
