Lynching
Anybody that doesn't own a teapot and infuser deserves to be lynched the old fashioned way...with a rope over a sturdy tree branch and a horse slapped out from under him.

Serenity
Two bloggers and one email raving about Serenity tells me that it must have been a good movie. I've seen enough of Firefly to maintain a semi-intelligent conversation, but I really need to watch the rest of it before I see the movie on September 30. I'm glad Ellen got to go (eBay really rocks) because I was noting some serious anger that she wasn't involved with a local ticket distribution, and I really wanted everybody to live. Speaking of SciFi, the way Matt's getting through my Stargate seasons, I'm going to have to hurry and get seasons six and seven. He is a true friend for providing my excuse for finishing my set :)

Pause for Breath
While I enjoy doing stuff and accomplishing things, I felt like I was doing a lot of things last week that were unrelated to each other, thus nobody could appreciate how much I was accomplishing. For example, I did a lot for Tae Kwon Do, a lot for our Neighborhood Association, helped friends with stuff, got ready for a party, and had medical appointments. None of those things are related to each other, thus none of those areas of my life knew about the other and could appreciate how much I got done. So for all those that read my blog, I got a ton of stuff done last week, and I'm excited about taking this week "off" and relaxing...mostly with the 6th season of Highlander :)

I will say that the Jazz Fest was a lot of fun, and I was happy for Ellen since she kicked ass with her jewelry. Got more items for KTTS, which always a good thing...

Talbot Street
I was pretty disappointed about missing Broadripple Art Fair, so I was downright irritated that Talbot Street forgot to check my schedule since I was going to be out of town the same Saturday of the fair. All was better, however, when Ellen informed me that it was on Sunday too, so I still got to go and harrass artists for KTTS donations (of which went very well) and of course buying stuff for myself :) Matt bought this cool Didjeridoo. I have no good explanation for it except that it's very cool and he'll have to show you in order for you to completely understand it's coolness. Hopefully he'll bring it with him to the Game Night Saturday *HINT*!

Time Flies!
I meant to blog about how much fun the May Day concert over Memorial Day was, but never managed to get it done...now it seems like an age away with so many things that happened between that and now. An example would be a really pleasant last Wednesday puttering in the Chicago Art Institute (most in the Impressionist area) and wishing that Indianapolis had a downtown as fun as Chicago's. Saturday was a wedding in Ohio (Eric's step-sister), which turned out nicely, then going farther east in Ohio to meet new friends and hang out for a day.

There's some excitement in the plan of having his parents come over in July to repaint our dingy walls (his step-dad's a retired professional painter...and retired teacher, and some other things). There are a lot of little projects around the house that I'm very anxious to have completed. There's even more excitement with some recent growth and future for Dan Shi Club for this summer and coming school year, so it's shaping up to be a nice start to summer :)
