Happy Day!
After a rather long afternoon of shoe shopping, I found my primary pair of hiking boots. Unfortunately, they are sold at the stiff price of $210. Well worth it though. I plan to buy them later this summer. In the meantime, I bought some nice summer walking shoes for those shorter hikes on the Monan.

Just when I thought the day couldn't get any better, I found Star Gate's season 1 for $29.95 at our local EB. I blinked several times...then put it back, thinking that it was a trick. Then I took it up front, and the manager confirmed this miracle, and told me that a guy had come in and traded two seasons. Since the manager bought the one, that left one for me :)

This has been a truly excellent day of shopping.
