Terminology Clarification
Ellen needs some terminology clarification....or perhaps I do.

Marian believes that a geek is a "OK" in that they can be cool, but are extremely focused in a particular hobby or career. Nerds are not all right in her book in that they are generally losers.

Ellen desires to be a science nerd, believing that nerds are all right, but being a geek is weird.

If my definition is correct, I will correct that millisecond of "whhaatt?" when she posted "Nerds" to my very cool, but geeky binary post. Lots of research went into that....*miffed* ;)
