Final Decision
I never expected the decision of what spend with birthday money to ever be this difficult. I had finally decided on the Toggery, but then, as I passed a walking shoe store at Keystone At The Crossing, I knew where my money was destined. Since walking is becoming more and more a part of my life, a truly excellent pair of walking shoes is required. I am hoping to convince Eric to walk just the Smokey Mountain National Park part of the Appalatian Trail in Spring 2005 (70 miles). Perhaps this Fall we can go down to Kentucky and go hiking on a smaller scale. I'm learning that it's all about adding a little bit at a time. We're going to the Cherry Festival in Traverse City in July...I know a ton of gorgeous hilly trails to hike up there too.
