Officially 2005!

Clearly I'm going a little picture crazy, but that's mostly because we finally replaced the camera that I "rummed" while in England last May. New Year's Eve was a tonne of fun. The Manhattan Rhythm Kings were fabulous with their tap dancing and swing music, backed by the ISO. I managed to get an autograph on their CD, which was cool. This is the official photo just after the announcement (the camera didn't get the champaigne).

We spent the first day of 2005 being home and playing a game that my parents made us. If you are here for Gaming Night, I'll have to show you. Basically, they carved, painted, and created all of the components of a game, then we have to make up rules for different games that go with the items. So far, we each have created a game with it. They also made an awesome wooden box to hold the components, and several sets of dice, so the configurations of different games seem limitless right now.

Less important details of the day include Mazi spending the day by the warm register, YY spending the day sleeping, and Q getting snacks.
